My Heart’s Salvation – Blog

The name of my most important song is “My Heart’s Salvation.”  It’s not yet finished yet, because I need to have it mixed and mastered, but the current version I have here (and on Reverbnation) for you to listen to is close to what the final song will sound like and certainly sounds better than the mix of the copyright version.  With all that said, once it’s finally done…here’s the scoop!

It may not be my most popular song, but it has been the most important endeavor I have ever accomplished!  Why is that?  It’s because “My Heart’s Salvation” is preaching the Gospel of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.  Yes, it is the full message of the Gospel put to music!  I wanted to make it easy for all Christians to witness…and who doesn’t want a free song, if it’s worth listening to?

I’m giving the 1st half of “My Heart’s Salvation” (the part that contains the gospel message) for free and it will always be free.  I feel that the Gospel message should be free, because the Gospel unto salvation through Jesus Christ is free to everyone who will repent and trust in Jesus.  When you’ve enjoyed listening to this Gospel message put to music, please join me in my evangelistic endeavors by purchasing/downloading a copy of the full version of the song for an interesting combination of rocking, yet melodic guitar with driving keyboards and vocals of praise, and even more important…

Join me in spreading the Gospel by sending the free version to everyone who you think might enjoy it and to all whom you feel needs to hear it, which would be all your friends…  Right!?  How easy is that?

GOD bless you all,

Like Chocolates? Feed God’s Sheep!

Ready for another “growth spurt” in your walk with our Lord Jesus?  Then keep reading… If we truly love someone, we will do what he or she asks of us (if it is good).  Let’s say you want to buy chocolate for someone because you love her.  You like chocolate, it is a good gift, and that is what you do for people you love.  However, this particular girl has told you time after time that she is allergic to chocolate and she really likes apples.  If you get her chocolate, anyway, is your gift demonstrating love to her?  No, it’s not.  Could you continue to do something like that to someone you truly love?  Again, the answer is, “No”.  Jesus asks us to keep the 10 Commandments (notice that they are not called the “10 Suggestions”), to preach the Gospel, and to feed His sheep (witness to the lost and help others).  If we don’t do as Jesus commands us to do, do we love Him?  Once again, the answer is, “No”, which means that this individual has not truly made Jesus their Lord.  The dictionary defines the word “Lord” as a man of noble rank or high office; a person who has authority, control, or power over others.  If one truly makes Jesus their Lord, they must do as He says… or they are not making Him Lord of their life…they have put other God’s before Him, which is idolatry, even if it is putting our own wishes above His (see 2 Timothy 3: 1-5, preferably the Amplified Version of the Bible).  Also see Luke 6:46-49. To start with, Luke 6:46 says, ““But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?”  And also, please see Matthew 7:21-23, which expounds on and clarifies the fate of those who believe in Jesus but do not do what He says…meaning, they have not REALLY made Him the Lord of their life, they don’t REALLY love Him (see the following verse, John 14:21, that I quote in the next paragraph).

One of my favorite verses on the subject of obeying His commands is John 14: 21, which says, “The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him”.

Think of it this way, you can believe in a parachute, but when the plane goes down, if you don’t put on the parachute, it won’t save you…in that regard, Romans 13: 14 says, “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”  Notice it says to “put on” the Lord Jesus Christ…like a parachute!  “Putting on” Jesus involves not only believing in Him, but Trusting in Him AND repenting of your sins, which means turning away from them as best as you possibly and honestly can and doing as He commands.  Then He will give you a new spirit with new desires (His desires) and you will hunger and thirst for righteousness.

Of course we are to pray, to seek Jesus and praise Him, but what is foremost on His mind?  A few weeks ago, I realized one morning that in a particular conversation that Jesus had with Peter, He did not tell Peter to pray, to seek Him, or to praise Him if he loves Him, Jesus said to feed His sheep…three times in a row for emphasis (see John 21: 15-17).  One of the first things that Jesus said to His disciples was, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19).  Also, one of the first things Jesus said when He left and ascended into Heaven, what was heaviest on His heart and foremost on His mind (most important to Him) was, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel”…(see Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:18-20, and Luke 24:46-49).

Since telling others about Jesus is most important to Him, it should be most important to us.  After all… He commanded use to do so.  Please see , because it is all about sharing Jesus Christ with others, the way Jesus did, giving the Law to the proud and grace to the humble.  You can even watch Ray and Kirk on You Tube: ;flow=grid.  And here is a direct download link for a free book to get you started:   Here is the website for the book (if you want to read some about it before downloading it):

MILLION $ QUESTION

Hi, I’m Eddie Witness. I am so glad you want to follow Jesus Christ! I will be glad to answer your questions and help you have a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. At m.godlife.com/look-to-jesus you can learn more about what it means to follow Christ, and then see for in-depth lessons.
What God has already done for you is the most meaningful change to your life that you could ever hope for… If you have repented of your sins and trusted in Jesus, then God has commuted your death sentence to an eternity in hell with no chance of parole, in exchange for eternal life, which is the gift from God through Jesus Christ.

To truly understand who God is, you must know and understand what He did for you by coming to this world as Jesus, which I am about to explain…why it was necessary AND what He did. Also, I am writing you this email to remind you that whoever has been forgiven much loves much (see Luke 7:41-43).  And through Jesus, we have been forgiven much! Basically, you broke God’s law, the 10 Commandments, and Jesus paid your fine in His life’s blood…it was a legal transaction.

Once you have read this blog, please take the time to take this test online and start sharing Jesus with (witnessing to) your friends and family by sending them these links!  What I have written is very short and to the point, but these websites go into deeper explanation and are interactive:  or try this for a more basic version that may be more mobile friendly:

The million-dollar question: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test. Have you ever told a lie, stolen anything, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Have you looked with lust? Will you be guilty on Judgment Day? If you have done those things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart. The Bible warns that if you are guilty you will end up in Hell. That’s not God’s will. He sent His Son to suffer and die on the cross for you. You broke God’s Law, but Jesus paid your fine. That means He can legally dismiss your case. He can commute your death sentence: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Then He rose from the dead and defeated death.

What you must do is call out to Jesus in true repentance (repentance = to be genuinely sorry for your sins, turn from your sins and do not continue to do them; see 1 John 1:6-7, Luke 6:46, Romans 6:15-16 and Psalm 66:18), and trust in Jesus alone (see 1 John 1:9, John 14:6, Romans 13:14). Pray now and yield your life to Jesus Christ, surrender yourself to God and abide in Him, and God will grant you the gift of everlasting life. The Bible promises, “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). Now pray and read your Bible daily and obey it. I encourage you to begin reading the Gospel of John in your Bible, or DOWNLOAD A FREE BIBLE at: .

I pray you’ll be blessed with God’s Holy Spirit, to be with and help you in everything you do, in the name of Jesus…Amen. Write back.

God Bless you,

Eddie Witness

In Support of Our Love For The Lost…

The legal term of letting someone die if you can save them is called “depraved indifference”, which is a crime. It is defined as an action that demonstrates a “callous disregard for human life” and results in death. In most states, it is second-degree murder and depraved-indifference is also known as depraved-indifference murder or depraved-heart murder. To constitute depraved indifference, the defendant’s conduct must be so wanton, so deficient in a moral sense of concern, so lacking in regard for the life or lives of others, and so blameworthy as to warrant the same criminal liability as that which the law imposes upon a person who intentionally causes a crime. Depraved indifference focuses on the risk created by the defendant’s conduct, not the injuries actually resulting.

The risk to the lost is great, if we say nothing to them…if we do not witness. They will go to Hell, eternal damnation forever. Not witnessing is a disregard for human life, to the highest degree, and God takes it very seriously. That’s why God told the Old Testament prophet, Ezekiel, that if he did not warn the people then their blood would be on his hands. “When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand” (Ezekiel 3:18).

Remember, we defeat the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and our witnessing… Revelation 12:11 (Amplified Version), “And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing]”.

What’s foremost on the heart of our Savior? Could it be reaching the lost? One of the first things that Jesus said to His disciples was, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). Also, one of the first things Jesus said when He left and ascended into Heaven was, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel”…(see Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:18-20, and Luke 24:46-49). If reaching the lost is of primary concern and weighs heavy on the heart of our Savior, it should be our primary concern, as well.

One more thing to complete this though…   A few weeks ago, I realized one morning that in a particular conversation that Jesus had with Peter, He did not tell Peter to pray, to seek Him, or to praise Him if he loves Him. Jesus said to feed His sheep…three times in a row for emphasis (see John 21:15-17). Of course we are to pray, to seek Jesus and praise Him, but what is foremost “on His mind? So then, isn’t seeking to save the lost the most beautiful way to praise God (Romans 10:15 and Mark 16:15)? Every time you witness, there are three things that can happen, and they are ALL good! The lost will receive the gospel and be saved, a seed will be planted, or you will be blessed if they reproach you (1 Peter 4:14 and Luke 6:22-23).

God Bless You All,

Eddie Witness
